Aaron P. Hernandez has been the Education Director at the Texas Society of Association Executive since March 2013. In this capacity, he assesses the educational needs of members and develops the educational programming for all of TSAE initiatives such as New Ideas Conference, CEO Strategies, Tech Talks, Leadership TSAE, Learn@Lunch, among others.
Previously, he served at the Texas Council on Family Violence as Family Violence Services Manager for five and half years. In this capacity he lead a team who specialized in providing technical assistance and working with member programs on their capacity building. By utilizing consultants, becoming subject matter expert and providing customized training, Hernandez assisted in growing the knowledge and capacity of non-profits serving victims of family violence in Texas.
Prior to that, Hernandez worked as Volunteer Coordinator, Legal Advocate and Community Relations Director for the Center Against Family Violence in El Paso, Texas for 6 years.
Hernandez earned a B.A. in English Writing and Rhetoric and graduated Cum Laude from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas.
